Funding for the STDGEN web site from the NIAID/NIH was discontinued in 2004. Much of the original functionality can now be found at http://stdgen.northwestern.edu, although some tools have been discontinued. The STD pathogens have been added to the NIAID funded National Microbial Pathogen data Resource Center (NMPDR).

The HPV Sequence Database is available at hpv-web.lanl.gov.
